Description

The Convertible Set is one of our versatile “jack of all trades” sets designed to do it all. With the Convertible Set you get great single-coil tones in the neck and middle in Silent Split™ mode, and a powerful AlNiCo on steroids tone in series mode. Choose the Convertible Set if versatility is important to you and if great single coil tones are your first priority. 

This set utilizes 1 250 k audio taper push/pull pot as a volume and split switch for the bridge pickup, 1 500 k audio taper push/pull pot as a blend and split switch for the neck pickup and 1 250 k audio taper no load pot as a master tone. Push/pull pots are wired with the split down. Other control and wiring options are available by special order. Pricing may vary.

Assembly Information

Two Splits

• Loaded pickguards are fully wired with pickups, controls, 5-way switch and capacitor along with pickguard, knobs and switch tip of your choice.
• Select colors for covers, pickguards, knobs and switch tip at checkout.
• If you wish to use your own pickguard, knobs and switch tip and have us pre-wire the pickups and controls only (mounted on a cardboard template), order an "assembled set" here.
• We use the "modern" 11 hole pickguard pattern. Other hole patterns are available by special order. Pricing may vary.
• We configure our loaded pickguards with our best wiring and control recommendation. Other control and wiring options are available by special order. Pricing may vary.
• For Assembled and Loaded Pickguard Convertible sets (wired to controls), the default is to wire the switch(es) so that the split is on when the push/pull is down, series mode up. If you wish to have it wired split up, please let us know by email.
• The default for Push pots is the CTS push/pull. If you'd prefer to substitute push/push, let us know by email.
