International Shipping

Terms

Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs tariffs and fees levied by the destination country or the shipping company. These charges are the customer’s responsibility and will be billed by the destination country’s delivery service. We have no control over these charges and are unable to estimate them. Tariffs and taxes are neither collected nor included in your price calculation at the time of your order. For an estimate of these fees, which vary by region, contact the customs office in your area.

USPS First Class International

If you choose this option (rather than USPS Priority Mail), the order must be under $400.00 USD. It can’t be insured if it is $400 or over.

Shipping to the European Union

Due to recent EU regulations, we can no longer support orders less than about $200.  As far as we can discern, there’s a pretty burdensome system with orders below 150 Euros, and we just don’t have the bandwidth or order volume to justify it.

We’ve turned off EU countries for now in our shipping tables.

It’s not very clear, but the implication is that orders over Eu 150, 1) aren’t affected by this system and 2) will go through more smoothly (although even these may still get hit with charges on your end). We’re setting our limit of $200 so we don’t have to deal with fluctuations.

We can invoice you via Paypal if the order is over $200 as indicated.

Shipping to the United Kingdom

As we understand it, the new regulations for the UK after Brexit (implemented 1/1/2021) impose a significant burden on the seller for purchases under £135. Basically, for purchases below that threshold we have to collect and report the VAT to the UK government. For purchases above the threshold, the old system where the buyer pays the VAT through the customs process still holds.

We aren't in a position to want to assume this logistical burden, given our low volume of sales to the UK, so at this point we will only be accepting orders over the £135 threshold.

We’re setting our limit of $200 so we don’t have to deal with fluctuations.

We can invoice you through Paypal if you want to make a purchase.
