This is our Legacy Series Convertible for Neck, potted in a Z-Series cover. Potting the pickup in the cover lets us save a few steps and offer this pickup to you at a lower price. The Convertible is designed to split. In Silent Split™ mode it has an “AlNiCo 5 on steroids” response similar to the Fat 5™, but at a lower output level, comparable to a low wind conventional single coil. In series mode it has a powerful, but clear voice, kind of like AlNiCo 5 on a LOT of steroids. The Convertible for Neck features a lower wind and lower magnetic strength, compared to the bridge model.

• Z-Series pickups have their covers potted on. Removal will void the warranty.
