Z-Series™
The Z-Series pickups represent the evolution of the Zexcoil design aesthetic. We took our original Legacy design and made it as efficient as possible so that we could bring you the same great tone (maybe even better?) at a more economical, and more important sustainable, price point. We have Z-Series™ analogs for almost all of our Legacy Series models, and we’ve also pushed our output levels down into the “vintage” range for some of the most popular voicings, including our most Stratty and HB-like voicings. With their subtle but distinctive Z covers, they have a unique and attractive look that is unmistakably Zexcoil®.

This is the Z-Core 5 Vintage Hot Set. Bridge: Z-Core 5 Vintage Hot Neck & Middle: Z-Core 5 Vintage Rhythm guitars on left channel are position 2 (bridge/middle), right channel position 4 (neck/middle). Recorded on a vintage blackface Fender VibroChamp with the volume at 5. The microphones used were an AKG Perception and Sennheiser e906.
