The Vintage Single 5 Double Underwound™ (SV5W) utilizes Tone Tuning Technology™ to mimic the frequency response of AlNiCo 5, the magnet alloy that is most closely associated with that open, glassy, classic Strat® tone. The SV5W is the lowest output pickup in the 5 series giving that signature glassy Strat quack in the in between positions and a nice open response in the neck. The SV5W is featured as the middle pickup in the Convertible™ Set and in our Underwound™ sets.
